Pig Iron
During the recent years, the process of blast-furnace smelting has been significantly improved, thus giving rise to production of several grades of pig iron with addition of various components.
Agglomerate
Sintering plant of OAO CMZ has started production of several grades of ferrovanadium agglomerate, with utilization of vanadium conversion wastes in the sintering mixture.
Ferrovanadium
Is an alloying composition of iron and vanadium, produced in electric furnaces by silico- aluminothermic reduction of industrial vanadium petoxide. Used for alloying of steel, alloys and pig irons. The ironworks produces a wide range of ferrovanadium grades, with different compositions of vanadium and admixtures, as well as nitrate and silicone-added alloys.
Nitrided Ferrovanadium
Is used for vanadium and nitrate alloying of rapid steels, low-alloyed steels, stainless steels, cold-resistant steels. Is supplied in the form of 5-15 kg lumps in steel drums.
Vanadium Pentoxide
Is used to produce titanium alloys, vanadium catalyst and other chemical agents.
Automobile Spring Plates
This production process includes manufacturing of spring plate blanks, thermal treatment, surface hardening of the plates, assembly of spring plates.
Rolled Products
OAO CMZ produces more than 150 profiles of various rolled products, mostly for construction and spring plate industries.
