OMK implements the Personnel Reserve Formation and Management Program. The goals of the program include:

  • Meeting the Company’s demand in managerial staff;
  • Effective management substitution during their absence;
  • The creation of an optimum age structure of the Company’s leadership team;
  • Maintaining the principle of succession within the Company’s management, improving management quality by creating a high-skilled and field-proven leadership team;
  • The formation of the personnel loyalty to the Company;
  • The minimization of the period of filling vacant executive positions by highly-qualified specialists.

Goal implementation is based on the determination of the optimal headcount in both the near (next year) and long term (up to 5 years) by the Direction for Personnel specialists. The personnel reserve is formed for all levels of managers performing managerial functions. The Company’s employees are enrolled in the personnel reserve after successfully passing a preliminary test, the Evaluation Center for the enrolment in the development group, development program and the final Evaluation Center. The decision to include a candidate in the Personnel Reserve is based on the final Evaluation Center and depends on their preparedness to occupy a superior position and succeed in fulfilling managerial roles and responsibilities while being involved in practical activity. Before advancing on the career ladder reservists improve their skills by participating in rotation, experience exchange and project participation programs.
