Company \ Structure

OMK comprises two large divisions the Pipe-Rolling Division and the Steel Works Division. The OMK entities employ a total of over 18 thousand people.

OMK Pipe Division

The OMK Pipe-Rolling Division comprises Russia’s major pipe producers: Vyksa Steel Works (VSW), Almetyevsk Pipe Plant (APP, a leading pipe producer in the Middle Volga Region), and Trubodetal (Chelyabinsk, one of the largest producers of pipeline fittings in Russia and the CIS). Pipes manufactured by these companies are used for the construction of Russia's major oil and gas pipelines, the Nord Stream, the Baltic Pipeline System, the North European Gas Pipeline, and the Eastern Siberia–Pacific Ocean Oil Pipeline. In 2010, the entities of the OMK Pipe-Rolling Division manufactured more than 2.2 million tonnes of various size pipes. OMK accounted 24% of the Russian pipe market. Vyksa Steel Works is the world's largest producer of solid railroad wheels. For many years, VSW and APP have played a leading part in the Russian economy. These companies' equipment and technologies are based on the latest scientific and technological achievements of the Russian and foreign pipe production.;

OMK Metallurgical Division

The OMK Steel Works Division comprises Casting and Rolling Complex (Nizhni Novgorod Region). Products of OMK's Steel Works Division are in demand in the Russian and international markets. Some of OMK’s commodity items enjoy a substantial share in the Russian metal product market. In 2008, OMK built the Casting and Rolling Complex (CRC) in the Vyksa District of the Nizhni Novgorod Region. The commissioning of CRC Phase One made it possible to supply high-quality hot-rolled steel coils to the electric pipe welding shops of Vyksa Steel Works and Almetyevsk Pipe Plant producing small- and medium-diameter pipes complying with international standards. The initial capacity of CRC is 1.5 million tonnes of coils per year. It is planned to increase its capacity up to 3 million tonnes and expand its assortment of products.
